I miss it all too Charger. We all had some really fun times during "the fantasy".

You are probably right about the money too. It is my feeling that what little bit of money, if any, that would actually be left over after the civil penalties were paid would do very little to relieve the losses suffered by so many people.

I seriously doubt I will invest in another penny stock. I'm not ruling it out 100%, but my experiences with Midland and a couple of other stocks have led me to conclude that this is probably one of the largest arenas of legalized thievery in US Economic History. <excluding Congress, of course :-)>

There very well could be other more "sophisticated investors" who are morally deficient and benefited at the expense of others. But likewise, there are those who lost serious amounts of money, and those who put everything they had on this stock. (Not too smart, I know, but still warrants compassion) Imagine the sense of personal loss to those who put not only their money, but so much of their selves into this company. I can consider it as a financial loss and not much more, but others put so much more into it than I. I think the loss was more than monetary for all of us, in one way or another.

For me personally, I will never take another thing a company says at face value again. The proof will always lie in the results, and the results will always be tangible.(Hence the reason for my hesitation in ALL penny stocks) I will never, and I mean NEVER doubt the word of someone bringing negative information onto a thread, regardless of any suspected "motive" they may have. I am not going to dismiss negative information when it is fact.

I have always thought that there were two types of people; those who trust others until given a reason not to, and those who will trust no one until given a reason to do so. My experiences on this stock and others have taken me from the former to the latter, at least as far as internet investing goes.

So, How've you been?? :-) And what is this "Reminences of a Stock Operator" to which you refer?

:-)
