Hi Jan,

I would rather play long-term puts with AMZN. Buying Jan 100 puts would do it for me. For the price of 100 shares of AMZN short I could buy 10 - 20 contracts. If AMZN does drop 20 pts within a few weeks then you would make $2000, but you would make about ten times that with the puts.

I understand I lose everything if the stock goes up, but I don't believe that's going to happen.

So for me the benefits far outweigh the risks.
