ed, get with the program. That fantasy thing was last week's story, now it's a conspiracy. Microsoft was set up. Next week, who knows. I don't know about the "self explanation" part, though, you'll have to explain that yourself, as it were.

"Netscape and the government's account of that meeting changes more often than Dennis Rodman's hair color," said Mark Murray, a Microsoft spokesman.

Tee hee. Microsoft hasn't exactly given any account of what they claim that meeting was about, since Bill's "we just wanted to tell them about cool new features" statement. But they've sure come up with a lot of interesting defense lines, each more hypothetical than the last.
