HK stocks end morning down, but off lows HONG KONG, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks were down at the midsession close on Thursday but off their day's lows after a morning of choppy trade ahead of the expiry of October Hang Seng Index futures this afternoon, brokers said. The blue chip Hang Seng Index ended the morning down 192.46 points, or 1.94 percent, at 9,734.59 after hitting a session low of 9,578.19.
