If you really want to get somewhere fast at Waterhouse just call their NY office and speak to their head of compliance Arnold Feist., 212-806-3500.

He is a bit of a putz overall, and I found him to be a spineless wimp in my personall dealings with him, but he is the bottom line on compliance at Waterhouse.

I have since taken my account from them and use a small company in LA for my fills by phone. I pay $40.00 but it is far better than dealing with a company where you are simply a name and a number.

Just a follow up of my prior Waterhouse screw-up:

I got the award check for my case vs. Waterhouse Securities today.
It is the full damage I claimed plus arbitration fees.

A year ago the Waterhouse Securities branch manager at Chicago very
rudely told me that no matter what I think, the case is closed
for his concern. I am going to give him a call tomorrow to thank
for his rudeness. Were not him pissed me off so badly I probably
would not go through all these troubles. Now I can gladly tell him
that the case is closed and will laugh all my way to cash the check.
