Suresha,Would it miss the fake rallies or just keep reversing from bullish to bearish? Would one just assume it is a fake out and keep the bullish stance?

Tom Dorsey would say that his charts only reports what is happening with supply and demand and how it impacts prices.

I suggest that you go to dorseywright.com and register for the free two week charts. To get the sector and nyse, etc chart just go to my earlier post of the market and sectors and use the symbols, ie. bpsemi, bpnyse, bpotc, 10week which I have posted. You can then see the entire charts for each and the AMAT chart. Gottfried and I both subscribe to the service. You also can go to the SI Point and Figure Charting site and ask P & F Madness (Jan) who is Tom Dorsey's Intern. Also, Tom Dorsey, posts under one of his employees name, Jay Ball. Duke and Wizzard on the site are also very good sources. If you want to order Tom's book I suggest that you go to amazon.com and buy it. Its title is, "Point and Figure charting" by Thomas J Dorsey.

The analysis of stocks is very thorough. I currently am teaching our NAIC Club the techniques outlined by Tom Dorsey. It is taking 3 2hr sessions and I do not want to take the time to post here.

If you read Tom's book you will see the statistical advantage of using his method, IMO.

Hope this helps.
