Hello Mr. Murphy:
Thank you for pointing out the record low book-to-bill ratios for the semi's and the consistent 3 year trend down! Without looking I was thinking they may have fallen to 0.7 or 0.8 at a low recently, not 0.57! There will be more Si real estate made at some point in the near future years. When the b-t-b bottoms and starts climbing for good reason, and a number of the semi equipment manufactures have moved, then looking for the unturned stones in earnest would make sense. I would not go short semi's at this point--partly I am too ignorant of the sector, and record low b-t-b is not the time, unless special situations arise.
Best regards,
m
