Your point is well taken and reinforces the only alternative management has to maximize shareholder value, soon or ever. SELL THE COMPANY! A strong vendor with market clout and influence is required for this technology to achieve anywhere near it's potential. ODIS hasn't had it, doesn't have it now and realistically never will. To continue to wait and hope to grow internally just isn't an option based in reality, IMO. Technologies like Objectstore generally have a window of opportunity, which doesn't remain open forever...... Hopefully, Goldman learned that lesson at Cullinane!

Don't fool yourselves, at $4.0 a share it is still the "Bargain of the year".

Object Design shifted its Sales and Marketing paradigm. The changes are mainly directed in concentrating Sales and Marketing on the small consumer as well as the fortune 500 companies. Getting lots of small clients provides greater exposure as well as more consistent revenue stream. Not too long ago, ODI's sales force was going into a panic attach every end of quarter in order to make the numbers. There were just a few "big" deals that either made or broke the quarter. We should expect to see the software being adopted by lots and lots of smaller firms thus bringing overall market share up along with a more stable revenue stream. Actively working with Object Design's software for quite sometimes I strongly believe in both the company's technological and marketing merits. Discussing global economical trends, although fascinating, have little to do with ODI's chances since it isn't big enough to suffer or benefit greatly from global forecasts for the year 2002.

If ODI continues to do what it is already doing, I have full confidence we will greatly benefit from our investments.
