Semico has been on the low side of '99 RDRAM production volume, there are also estimates for 100 million units next year, RMBS even sees their partners producing 100M+....We'll see!

Steve,

"Intel realizes that there will be a shortage of Direct RDRAM in 1999.

A very material point to that assertion is why? Is it because of excess demand or reduced production capacity? Either way shortages usually cause price spikes in the spot market for chips. Any thoughts on how this impacts RMBS royalty revenue? Thanks, bp
