Dave, I hope that MGR will be grabbing some (all???) of the 10 tons that will be mined in 1999. Bearcatbob, I don't think that it will need to be tied to the Second Coming -- although it may be! I think the better view is that they will be separable events. Phil

Dave, I see a good investment here if one can accept to wait a period of
time that may seem long if one is holding MGR at an average over one dollar.
The Bumbat project is the main event of MGR and currently has the most, if
not all, of the focus and attention. In my opinion, even if Bumbat was to
restart in weeks or months, and speculation pushed the share price of MGR
to over 1.00, say equal to Phil's average, I would suggest to Phil to not
sell his shares eventho the past events of buying high and seeing it go
very low has taken a toll on all who share in the happening. If someone
who now holds at an average of 1.50 and sees it now at .06 would really
like to "escape" and get their investment back. But MGR is not a Bre-X
scam, and say, one year from the 1.50, it goes to 2.50 or 12.50, then one
would wish that they held. Imagine Bearcatbob taking heat for buying in
at 2.50 when he could have got in at .05. But Bob will feel good when
others buy his 2.50 at 12.50. Speculation all, ofcourse. So, if we get
Bumbat settled in a day or week or month or months, and get a 1.50, and
I'am holding a US 0.075 average, I will NOT sell, but wait one more year
to have the other interests MGR are in to add value to MGR. So I see
MGR one year from today as having Bumbat resolved, and MGR's other areas
of interest being better defined as to add value to the stock price.

I did a little summary to your posts.

To me that the government of Mongolia wants gold mining done to a high
level tells me that no foreign mining company will be hurt. Things are
slow now maby because the price of gold is low.

... to allow the <Bumbat> project to restart, is in our JV partner's hands.

... Our other project are being advanced.
... Watch these announcements as well. They're significant.
... eventually it will be recognized that MGR is more than one project.

... acquired and advanced its Altai properties.
... acquired and advanced the Mazenod Lake NWT Olympic Dam projects.
... acquisition of a 50% interest in three past producing silver mines
... subject to certain conditions, to increase that interest to 100%.

ULAN BATOR (Oct. 29) XINHUA - Mongolia is expected to produce over 10
tons of gold this year, two years ahead to fulfill the government's
exploitation target,...
...The government has also planned to be among the 20 top gold producers
in the world in the 21st century,...

Dave, do you see anything being resolved on Bumbat before the end of November? Or can we let this thread sleep for another month? ;) Phil
