Rick I want you to know I have no animosity to you personally. From this last post to E You state you have experienced something from dimensions outside matter. It seems we are in perfect harmony on that as I too have experienced something and our ability to communicate that experience is impossible. It really seems a case of semantics between us. That's why I usually say the God of my heart, meaning my own concept of God from that experience. I do not know if this is the same but have a feeling it is. I know God that lives in me. It is not Jesus and I became aware when it just came out of the blue. Of course my Christian experience and a life trying to live by the bible was shattered. It was not the glorious feeling expected. If your experience was a glorious one it sure wasn't the same. MY philosophy of life was shattered. The direction of my thinking had to change and I really got rid of my EGO immediately.

At any rate I am not atheist but an agnostic. I too have tried to share the facts I later found in research which fully explained what was unexplainable by the bible. These were the result of having to know how I could have bought the dogma. Since that time I have never prayed for anything except wisdom.

I would modify this in one way - maybe a very important way.
excerpt>there exists another
dimension of life--beyond the firmament, beyond tangible matter: a spiritual reality
which one can experience, an augmentative dimension whose experience is
precluded when doesn't acknowledge its existence<

My take on the spiritual dimension is dual. 1) There exists this augmentation as you describe - and it is dependent on the observer/participant.
2) The spiritual dimension exists and operates even without the observer. (But tree, forest, sound? Idunno!) Or maybe a bit more practically: The spiritual dimension is there and is *good* whether or not the observer/participant minds the right path. "The God-nature does not require our worship. It is for our benefit."

This might not be awful clear...
