Recycle;
I thought your post the other day "Buy on rumor, sell on rumor" was hilarious. I think Tuesday was a "volume precedes price" day, for many, but the Kaleidoscope news wasn't the bang it could have been......until the AGE release comes in. When the Maerz/Abrams/Gentile family album is finally opened for us all to see, you can bet I'll be all over it with a fine tooth comb, lol. (inquiring minds, want to know, :)

More on Micronauts:

Gribouille uses CGI for 'Xcalibur,' 'Micronauts' (Hollywood Reporter - 192 words - Thurs., Oct. 15, 1998)
By Steve Brennan

Gribouille, the international CGI production company, has announced a slate of two half-hour series that will use state-of-the-art CGI techniques. The company will produce 26 episodes each of "Xcalibur" and "Micronauts."

Gribouille, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles and Marseilles, France, has partnered with French pay TV giant Canal Plus, children's production group Ellipsanime in France, France 2 and Cactus Animation on "Xcalibur," which is set for delivery as early as 1999.

"While CGI has enjoyed huge success both in the cinema with Pixar's 'Toy Story' and DreamWorks' current release 'Antz' and on television with Alliance's 'ReeBoot,' to date no one has produced highly realistic virtual characters to satisfy the rapidly growing demand from audiences hungry for alternative animated entertainment, such as today's teenagers raised on video games full of pseudo-realistic characters," Gribouille president Lloyd Nathan said.

Gribouille is partnering with Abrams/Gentile Entertainment, Kaleidoscope Media Group and Annex Entertainment on the "Micronauts" series.

"In this new era of CGI, the bar has been raised with audiences demanding more elaborate and complex visuals," Nathan said. "This will change the way the audience views animation."
