JMO,IMHO this statement of yours does not make any sense whatsoever. Think about it. The SEC got most of their material from following the bashers.

You don't think the SEC reads the Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine. Here is this rag tag group of cyber-vigilantes led by an Art Historian and a giant chicken unearthing a bunch of internet scammers. The SEC got egg on its face, hired a few hundred people to surf the net, and then voila 44 busts.
