Joe,

you got my interest...gotta make time for it, but maybe
beta testing is something I could handle.

Only problem is I'm on a SGI Octane, so I'm not sure
how portable your code is.

No PC at home?

Back to COMS stock price. I was thiking that if
we start going up to 35 quick, we will get a lot of folks
back in who think they missed the boat waiting for
the below 30 range.

34 1/4 x 34 5/16 (rt); this is the high of the day
at the moment.

I agree and good news about the rt quote. What's the volume doing? Should be increasing again.

About getting work done, yeah I could do some myself.
Lots of time, I do mine after 4pm....

I'm actually all caught up at work so I don't mind going in late.

>> UNIX is just for engineering workstations
where I work.<<

That explains why most of the serious folks around here
would not trust NT for mission critical stuff we do. Part
of the reason though, is because they worship the one
UNIX God and MSFT is sacriledge.

It's not that UNIX is better than NT you know. It's just that these people know UNIX and not NT. UNIX used to be a mess too, but 20 years helped stablize it and secure it. NT is only 9 years old. In anohter 11 years it will kick the crap out of UNIX. Don't forget NT's kernel was developed by the guy that wrote VMS.

Also, NT is all point and click. UNIX people think they
can do everything faster because of command line typing.
(Of course, they don't realize they have about 10,000 commands
memorized after years of UNIX programming)

First of all, if you get the NT resource kit, you can type a lot of configuration into NT. But point and click is so much nicer if you are in a hurry and can't remember if this parameter is supposed to be BOOL or int.
