I received no response. I was later told that the problem had been discussed "at the highest levels" and it was [at that time] decided that nothing would be done. While I've seen some companies that say "if you don't get any sat- isfaction, call our CEO", N Base isn't one of them. Given the flap that this has caused, you'd think he'd be aware of the problem (along with most of the N Base part of the company). Yet every N Base person I communicate with is still surprised about the issue. Yesterday I received email from N Base's webmaster in Israel saying that my post was untrue. I responded with my most recent set of mess- ages exchanged with N Base. The webmaster was quite surprised that the problem was still uncorrected on a currently-shipping model. I spent an hour or so on the phone this morning with N Base in Israel, but I still don't have working software (they rushed something together for me yesterday, but it is apparently broken). In any event, I don't have Noam's phone number. Is he here in the US or in Israel? If someone wants to send me the number, I'll give him a call (and will report back here with the results). Terry
