All the points that you have outlined certainly represent risk for SUNW holders. Other great technology companies (MSFT, IBM, Intel) face similar risks. I just feel that SUN's execution in the past in overcoming / meeting the competitive challenges provides its shareholders some comfort that they have a better than even chance to be successful in the future. The technology world is littered with big name - high flyer stocks that trade below $5 bucks today because they failed to execute or did not deliver on promise/potential. Till I see the early signs of mis-steps I remain a SUN bull.

I did however take advantage of the volatility to sell covered calls at 55 and 60 for Nov. No harm in feasting on the markets' new found enthusiasm for the stock. The volatility allows long term bulls to accumulate at reasonable prices every fortnight.
