FWIW the Cymer investment road show is starting in the next fews days...we may see a bit of a bump in response to the great investor relations department over there.

Regards,

Rob

Bob,

How are you doing? Hey just wanted you to know, that the chips being produced in the big SEMI_MFG house R&D labs and being qualified in the production fabs are less then 0.25 micron on more then 1/4 of all layers. I would guess ~ 1/3 of the layers are less then 0.25 micron.

Bob, obviously, Cymer's improvements in useful life keep them that much farther ahead of the competition. However, you would think that it significantly reduces the potential market because the lasers will have to be replaced far less often. In fact, if it doubles the useful life, wouldn't it reduce the potential market from approx 2000 lasers a year to 1000 lasers a year?
