Thanks for the insight. Unfortantely we have to wade through short sighted poorly informed thinking by the "Jach's" of the world to get to the truth. My biggest problem is that this "Jach" doesn't listen then preaches his half-truths and lies to others less knowledgable.

Ah well... life goes on.

this statement is totally wrong. Underlying switched fabric job is now called PNNI. Please see the PNNI 1.0 overview document in ATM Forum web site. What a total lack of knowledge in this area? Had ever read the PNNI spec ? what does the overview section said?
