I am not so sure that Loral is out of the picture in this AsiaSat deal--we will see now won't we? Ownership of SAT is complex--the SAT press release today states that it is the Bowenvale group that is maybe selling. They own 69% of SAT. Bowenvale is made up of Cable & Wireless and CITIC, the Chinese company. Hutchison Whampoa is in there too. Any one of them might be selling their piece. The bids are in--let's see who wins. LOR earnings out tomorrow morning, with a state of the union address to follow. Stay tuned.
