The one variable that I can think of is that merger expenses will probably cut into this quarter's numbers.

From today's press release:
Results for the 1998 periods include $1.4 million of costs associated with the pending integration of Infoseek, Starwave and its joint ventures.

Guess I called that one, bummer :-(. Subtracting that out gives us a loss of only $1.2 million, not too bad, IMO. For those of you that scream of accounting irregularities among many i-net stocks, I think if you look back at past quarters, SEEK has not been one of those that plays those games. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Wonder what that person that bought 15,000 shares right at the close is thinking now???
