He appears to be straying from a strict following of the rules.

As you can see (below) rule 24 clearly states that the issue of low volume should be used when the stock price is rising. Today he tried to couple low volume with falling price. This is clearly overkill. I think he would get only a B- in Stock Slamming 101 for his performance today.

24. When slamming, if the price rises, blame it on a temporary mass reaction to a press release rather than real interest in the stock. Point out low volume and emphasize the selling.

Lots of situations are subject to different interpretations. Some see low volume as "no interest in this dog". At times it can be "no reason or need to sell".
