No she wouldn't. Abortion on demand was illegal. Adulterers were stigmatized and the loopy left had not yet taken over the universities. She wouldn't like that at all. JLA

For California schools, the mid 70s were the absolute peak as I understand it. I dont know about the 50s really, but every year of the 60s the schools got better and better according to the people I know. Late 70s, decline, 80s more decline, 90s an absolute disaster such that you can never send your kids to the public schools around here.

Personally, I cant see any reason for the decline except for funding. Sure the communities are more multicultural, but there are no multi-lingual requirements in my area (Indians speak english). The kids today are more likely to come from educated highly intelligent families than they were in the past since the workforce is now largely high tech. Whats the problem? Beaurocracy?
