ALL : I think that I got the answer to the stock buy back. In the news today it said that during 1998 they had bought 25 mil shares for a total cost of$780M but at the end of JUNE they had bought 10 million shares for $339M soin the 3 rd qtr the actually bought 15 million shares for $ 441 million or $ 29.40 a share. There is no
telling what they did in the last 4 weeks with the stock in the low 20's.
Patrice, with the IPO expected in Mid Nov CBS could be above 36 for Thanksgiving - now that would be a nice THANKSGIVING !!!!!
