I keep seeing automobiles mentioned as an embedded chip problem but haven't come across any firm information or link about specifics. Ford website does not have a 2000 link that I've seen. Anybody have any info on this other than vague speculation that some cars won't start at 1/1/2000? TIA.

''If they finally unleash a war, our People's Army will blow up the U.S. territory as a whole and demonstrate the mettle of the
great Marshal Kim Jong-il's army,'' Jong warned.

My Y2K Problem
By Erik Hedegaard
"Of course," he went on, "there's also a reasonable likelihood of serious problems. And it does make sense for everybody to feel reasonably prepared so they are less likely to panic."
<<And if come the next day, all was well, so be it. That'd be okay. I could be happy with that, because I'd know I had hoped for the best, prepared for the worst, and in the process learned how to stop worrying and live with the Y2K bomb.>>
