GVTucker,>>>After all, if you don't have any way of determining that, in your opinion, people will pay more for Intel in the future, then buying Intel common stock is nothing more than guessing.<<<

I'm not sure, but I think it was Damon Runyon who said (I'm paraphrasing): The race may not go to the swift, nor the battle to the strong - but that is the way you bet.

Somewhat more seriously, of all the technologies that are out there - I think I would prefer to own microprocessors more than anything else. I think there is a future for microprocessors and that Intel may be a big part of it.

I don't have a formula as to how much Intel has to earn and what people will pay for that earnings - I just think that Intel will have earnings and lotsof it - even though I believe that sentiment can be manipulated and things aren't valued precisely - that things will even out over time. And that is the rub. What do we mean by over time?

Regards,

Mary

Just got my Q3 investor fact sheet. I know this is fluff, but it warms my heart as an Intel investor. And since you mentioned Buffet...

If you bought $100 worth of INTC when it went public, you'd have $101,250 today.

I hope that's true 26 years from now.
