Bill, I do it most of the time the problem you have with option if not hedged is that the implied volatility expands as today.

On the other hand I had great trades last month wen the same volatility shrinked and the option price just went down more that the move in stock.

Recently Volatility is relatively low and is not the same fun in selling options.

In general, option with implied volatility below 30% is not worth selling, but buying IMHO.

Now I am speaking about in the money option. Out of money option are always better sold than bought.
