.Trev and donkeyman.. thanks for the sites!

Sam, unfortunately I wasn't following Dia-Met closely when it made its run... so the one thing that I think would be very interesting to look at is the timing of Dia-Mets run up to $4.. and then to $8... and then beyond.... ? Basically, at what point where they in proving up their property? If they were at a similar stage as Winspear is at now then there is definitely a strong parallel that we can draw here. (ie. they were just starting to confirm the quality of the diamonds with preliminary $/tonne figures, preliminary estimates of the size of the mineable resource, etc...) However, if Dia-Met had done (or was waiting on the results from) a large bulk sample as part of a feasibility study, had officially determined the size of their resource, etc... then to get that kind of run and stability we might have a bit longer to wait? (I hope not... but... it is better to be realistic than to dream and lose...)

Does anybody know what stage Dia-Met was at when it made its strong moves in share price? What kinds of news were they bringing to the market?

>>>Dia-Met was at a solid 4 bucks ,and boom jumped to 8, in no time sat there and shook us all out then took of and never looked back <<<

Sam,, I was there and agree somehow! However, people are way more educated today with diamond exploration and expectations are much more.. I remember the stock being halted and the opening was delayed due to an inbalance of orders.. Yeah more buyers.. As late as 30 minutes...and it would open up much higher. In those days, diamond stocks would go up even when they hit a kimberlite, today, they don't care...regards Frank
