Steve, I agree, very strong looking chart. >>we might see another ~2 pt day.<< nirvana;-) Just in case Steve, I am thinking about a possible bounce off of 35 strategy. I'm not sure why this might happen other than there are possibly some market TA reasons that won't allow the market to go further... Don't get me wrong now. I think that COMS is now primed to crack through 35. BUT JUST IN CASE IT DOESN'T, I would think we would see a couple of bouncing off 35 moves along with some other twists and turns. Heck, maybe Acampora wants to say something about Bank xyz that has been secretly avoiding bankruptcy, and he therefore predicts a temporary retrenching,blah, blah, blah, and the banks get panicking and everybody thinks that the Naz has come across resistance. I'm just trying to anticipate what could go wrong...maybe go back to 33 and start over again. >>PS. Thanks to you not keeping up Joe, we fell a couple of spots.. we were heading right for the top spot too ;-)<< I know, I felt bad sleeping on the job:-) btw...I was glad to see that mild upward turn at end of day, both for COMS and the market. Steve, We didn't mention Moonray's very important post after the Glenn Shuttle blast off. See: Message 6211785 NOTE a few things: 1) "We expect to see some solid growth in our second fiscal quarter as we find significant sales uptake in the quarter," Nice quote. I guess they still want to see Nov. numbers to make sure of the numbers. Very good 3Com move. Just as we were discussing earlier in the day, how to handle preannouncement month. 2) "....and as we see a strong uptake in the Asian market place." Lord!! Is he suggesting that Asia is picking up? WOW, that would mean a BOOMING '99. More evidence of Asian stability: "INTERVIEW-Ascend says Asia sales stable" Message 6190570 3) I just got this from "CNET NEWS.COM DISPATCH" They have the top three stories of the day. In it was this: 3Com holding tight for strong sales Execs at networking hardware maker 3Com are hoping for a healthy second fiscal quarter. Analysts say that rising company gross margins and a solved inventory problem should contribute to a boost in sales. news.com Maybe this will boost us to $36 tomorrow. joe
