Thanks for the lightning quick response! I was initially gonna guess $25 for the value of the 70's and then jacked it up.

I believe LEAPS expire at the same time as regular options.

The other thing I like about LEAPs is that you don't have to worry about margin calls when times get bad.

We may not have the luxury of waiting for volatility to come down. Given possible near-term events, volatility may not come down until the stock hits 100!

One thing I may wait for though is the Oxy results. If they are bad the stock is sure to get unjustifiably oversold. If they are good, I bet the stock will not appreciate as much as it really ought to right off the bat. Adult incontinence is just not a very sexy story! You can't have the face of some beautiful woman with high cheekbones selling Oxy on TV, whereas that is working wonders for Claritin.

The lemming institutional money managers will read the good news on Oxy, say "wha gives?", and then as soon as the analysts come out with updated buy recommendations the morning after, the big boys will say "coulda had a V-8" & load up on more SEPR.
