I remember your posts from last year about the huge increase in headcount, and in retrospect you were right on. So seeing you turn bullish is meaningful to me.

Re: "I won't try to put numbers on Intel for next year, there are a lot of people better at that than I am." Maybe so, but the more I follow Intel the more I believe that most of the gurus can't estimate this one very well. Looking at the estimates on the Yahoo finance thread, I see the range for 4Q of $.83-$1.01 and for 1999 the range is $3.24 (a zero growth rate based on the current consensus) to $4.25 (A 30% growth rate from the current consensus).

Anyway you look at it, that's quite a range. Hopefully, 4Q and the guidance in January will give us a clearer picture, but I kind of doubt it.
