Dennis - Re: "CORPORATE computer sales will slow dramatically in the middle of next year due to Y2K. Have you seen this?? "

That's the FORRESTER report.

It was done by interviewing people at big companies.

Although large companies are important, new companies are starting up all the time and fast growing ones will be buying lots of computers.

Much is made of the "we can use the old slow stuff to surf the internet".

Well, guess what is going to be the INTERNET in a few years? A lot more Intel-based Servers connected by a lot more Cisco routers & Switches.

Business and commercial use of the net is just starting - and it will continue to exhibit explosive growth.

Don't forget - Intel will be introducing Katmai, and Cascdes & Coppermine, the latter two with large on-chip caches.

There will always be a demand for the fastest CPUs and PCs.

Intel will build them.

New applications will always spring up to use that power.

Creativity will always be with us.

By the way - have you ever seen anybody return a PC because it is TOO FAST ?
