Moonray,

The S&P futures are holding up surprisingly well on Globex given that they closed at a premium of 1,057 points. The fair value for the S&P 500 is about 500 points so the futures are trading about 550 points over fair value right now. If things stay like they are, a buy program at the open would cause the DJIA to open 35 to 40 points higher. Only thing is, the futures can move a lot in 5 minutes so morning is an eternity away lol. BTW, for those who don't know, LSI is a component of the S&P 500 and buy and sell programs can move it around a little. Here is a link to some program trading data.

Look at HK - pushed right through the 10k resistance! This thing is going to rock and row. As fast as it came down because of 'Far East Crisis', it's going to go right back up because 'crisis is contained' (whatever that last phrase might mean).

And SOX will head up and break previous high, but I do not see 12 to 18 months. I see a 3 year run - Japan waking up first part, new techs second part. New techs as digital TV, digital communication second phase. Perhaps we'll even see more than that e.g. China phase 3.
