Len,

There is no trick to it. After you start training a net, you can only stop it one time and change the settings. Once you start the training process again, the settings are locked. I set everything the way I want it, including checking Auto Save, and then select 10, 15, or 20 neurons and start training. If I like what I see after 30 minutes or an hour {you can train longer if you want}, I stop the training and change the neurons to 60. You can also delete or add a related at this time, but doing that will screw up the net for awhile. When I start training again, the settings become permanent.
