OT - Wow, and speaking of Gemplus:
Abstracted from Zero Un Informatique Hebdomadaire 09/11/98:

Gemplus, smartcard reader world market leader, and its partners Kopin (US) and Leti, microelectronics laboratory of the CEA, plan to develop a multimedia wristwatch that will offer TV, phone, GPS, videoconferencing, and secure E-commerce. It is hoped that a working prototype will be available by 2000-2001, according to Gemplus vice president Jean-Pierre Gloton.

Credit to Will Tally on the KOPN board.

Got me John!

What's this jive about Java...
Any thoughts? Could someone pull a tooth from the mouth of this article's author? Isn't everybody tinkering with Java Craplets to enhance the security and utility of smart cards? Does International Bowel Movement have a department whose only function is to blow smoke out its butt for the financial media?

Anybody...
Answer me please,
