Sam,

I can remember the featured speakers ridiculing Canada's Central Bank for selling a lot of its gold just at the time it was supposed to go to go up. And they loved to stick it to Ted Arnold, the bearish precious metals analyst at Merrill Lynch. The scorn they had for the panelists on Wall Street Week was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Then there's the chartists- McAvity and some woman whose name I can't remember, saying gold or silver was showing such and such a trend, with support here and a breakout there...sure!! Yeah, all those guys have a great track record and great credibility, eh? I remember one of the regular panelists - English guy, I think, said "Buy Franco Nevada AT ANY PRICE!" There's intelligent advice for you!

I had an exercise I did- I went up to each booth and asked the person there (except for blonde 20 yr. old vixens that a few companies put in their booths - I just shot the breeze with them ;-)>) what their favorite stock was at the show besides their own. But I got sick of them saying, "We're the best- forget about anybody else." I did get some IR people to recommend other companies- Montello was the one recommended that I remember most- and New Celtic Mining or something.

Yeah, I think I might save a lot of money by avoiding the free gold show!
