The books give the same advice Tim. The rules are first 20 minutes are desk clearing time. The next 20 minutes are critical for a stock. Then the doldrums until closing. Watch the trend in the period at the second twenty minute period for the activity for the day.
This piece of advice came from the "Electronic Day Trader", which by the way is a fun and must read.
Thanks,
Glenn

LOL, I laugh because the stock has acted so wierd at times ( it looks like it is going to start moving down, and then late in the day...boom it is back up) that I have bailed on it twice to take profits. But like the line in the last Godfather "Just when I think I am out, they suck me back in" So...I am in as of tonight. What keeps me in this thing is the fact that earnings were not that good, yet this stock has great momentum at a time when the market is giddy over earnings season...SOMETHING HAS TO BE UP HERE..HAS TO BE!

Tim, I know that this stock is probably not one you have followed but I was hoping you might take a look at this one. JAII seems to be a solid company, great fundamentals, awesome earnings this week, well off it's 52 week high, wonderful forward outlook....no volume, no price movement. Am I missing something here??? Holding for several days now and wondering if I need to move on.
