Parker / PKD ''told'' us they were looking to expand its Rental Tool Bizz -

...back on a prior conference call; when we first heard of the softening of dayrates etc... I listened to this call and in retrospect; PKD's exec's in my opinion; were on top of everything; explained the market, said what they were doing at the time to counteract it; and laid out their gameplan for the future... which included expanding their "Rental Tools'' Division which was very strong.

Most importantly on this call; I found out that the major analysts have great respect for PKD's management. You could pick up the ''tone'' of the analysts attitude, questions and reactions in PKD's CC that they respected these guys, and that PKD knew what they were doing.... this is not allways the case.

Now; we see PKD executing their gameplan, looking totally in control, focused and making ''all the right moves'' ..... I be ''likin'' what I see these guys doing; Expanding profitable, high cash flow segments & buying expansion at the bottom; Internationally diversified, and they are ''beating the crowd to Russia/Caspian Sea ?"; 'Nuff said; I suggest you all read everything on PKD you can get your hands on, SEC 10K-Q's, annual report, old message board info etc..... appears to be gold in them thar hills; blackgold that is...Texas Tea...(Russian too ?)... all @ less than $5 ! ...hope some of you bought on yesterday's ''dip'' - I'm looking for these 1-2 day blowoffs again; buying the good companies off of these irrational sell offs. I saw a ''sell now & let's analyze this later'' mentallity on PKD buying SESI. Nothing to think about, or hesitate on, as far as I'm concerned. I see few stronger potential values for under $5 ?

It will be an intersting Friday. I'm watching how PKD will bounce today, how VRC & GLBL will do and FGII - as the stocks to watch...also, will HLX continue to bubble & boil ? - it's looking like a volcano ready to errupt to $11-12 ?

Did PDE's earnings look strong or what ? - now we know why all that insider buying at Pride was taking place... if they execute their deepwater plans in Brazil ....BAMMM ! Is this the best ''BUY'' on a dip here ?

We are seeing a transition of where the ''Value'' is in the Driller stocks.

MRL - not looking as bright or cheap as it once did - where did all those deepwater newbuilds & big future EPS go ?; CDG gone, NE ? DO looking not so cheap - downgraded on its Price move/valuation of late... RIG - ''guaranteed'' earnings, but you pay for them with less upside - will we get another chance to own under $30 ?, ATW allready popped, BDI bought out, UTI & PTEN - not yet untill crude moves ? ....will GLM ''EVER" look good ?

Has the time come for 2 ''forgottens'' - PDE & PKD ?

How about PESC - NBR's playing pac man here of late; BDI now PESC - GO NBR; I bought KEG on the valuations given PESC by NBR...NBR looking interesting - signs of someone ''counting'' on a turn soon ?!!
