Argentina Gold [ARP.V] Hole 84 is Another Big Hit

Numbers speak louder than words: 111 meters of 2.783 g/t gold and 23.12 g/t silver; ARP closed at $3.47, up $1.07 on 4.7 million shares traded in just three hours and fifteen minutes.

Words are, however, also interesting. For example, these are "partial results" as there are still 115 meters of deeper drill core left to assay, and "the interval reported ENDS in gold grades of 5 to 6 g/t".

The results from ARP's Veladero project in Argentina certainly did not disappoint. In the very short term, speculation will remain focused on hole 84 until the remaining assays are reported, but not long after that takeover talk will begin to drive the market as Barrick Gold [ABZ.T] and Newmont Mining are already major stakeholders in the property and ARP, respectively.
