IMHO.Check the OI on the spread you mentioned...if close then you might be on to something.Right now I am avoiding puts,so I guess my opinion is that the OI signals a bullish tone.

Perhaps the strike just moved?

With the current trend perhaps a method could be to sell 1 at strike put and buy 2 out of money puts. Repeat with each uptick of the market.

Haim: The SOX is up over 40 percent in the last couple of weeks. 266 is another key point.
