ALERT - Is SUNW eyeing another purchase? ... Investors are betting that DATA GENERAL CORP (16-1/16, before open) is being pursued by suitors such as STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CORP (32-5/16, before open) and SUN MICROSYSTEMS INC (59-1/4, up 1/2 @9:31 ET), an article in the Nov. 9 issue of Business Week said. Analysts said Data General was an undervalued player in an attractive market, the article said. Other possible buyers include HEWLETT-PACKARD CO (59-13/16, before open) and IBM CORP, the article said.
