Jim,
Surprised me. The bottom line is this, for me. They have the goods. I understand Gros Rosebel in Surinam is really progressing and can become a mine even at these prices. That means GSR will have two mines with Cambior.
They have 5 other properties that are likely to become mines when the gold price goes back up. Fennell coming or going will not matter. He did his job and that is what he does best ( finding gold and making deals ). Since they have the goods, all they have to do is hunker down. That is not Fennell's style.
I know think GSR will go into takeover play. Fennell might even be a part of that. A natural is Cambior. They are good miners, but have no exploration skills. Fennell and the top dog at Cambior are hunting buddies.
Could lead to a big pop in the stock in the coming months. So all is well.
Bill
