To all: you cannot judge Mr. Pink's short picks based on price movements for a few days/weeeks. We were extremely lucky with the timing during the market slide. Now, good shorts are going up more than other stocks as shorts cover and momentum guys jump in as they smell the blood. Junk like PVN will eventually tradew much lower.

the natural foods/supplements arena is worth looking at as a source of opportunities, both long and short. Recently, a company with a decent history and excellent brand awareness was at $4, Hansen's Natural - love their coconut/pineapple juice (got to add your own rum). Anyway, a new kid on the block is HCOW, Horizon Organic, a marketer of organic dairy products - milk. Buying the stock is a mooo-ving experience. (get it?) So, this HCOW seems to be selling at quite a premium to other stocks. Valuations for the group could rise, providing support for all of them, including HCOW. If the economy slows, recession, etc., people may be less willing to pay a premium for a staple like milk. somebody should start a thread on this?
