Nothing I have read here or heard otherwise has sounded to me like Hirsch was talking down the stock. And as far as admitting that there was a major liquidity problem before the LU deal, nothing wrong with that, as long as the problem was solved. That's a time honored tradition for incoming CEOs, saying, in essence, "Look how bad things were when I got here, now look how much we are improving." In fact, that can be used as a reason why the stock IS cheap right now, given the level of the stock price now versus the level when there was a liquidity issue.
