Kenny: The SEC is in no
way a part of any conspiracy.

Many of the other points you make are, I believe are very valid ones.

The nays focus on their side, and the yays on theirs.
As in any argument people maximize their perspective and minimize the other sides.
Human nature.

Part of this I think has to do with the fact that the nays refused to accept the idea that your side was not interested in any kind of "unasked for " help.
And there was/is the very real possibility that some of them were short.

I think you all knew the score vis a vis the value of the company, but you are entirely correct that it didn't matter if there was a true squeeze happening.

That argument from them is nonsense.

A squeeze is not about values of companies, it is about shortages of paper.

Is presstek worth 200 a share..ktel 60..iom 100
(I believe yahoo and aol are others but not sure)
they are not and were not...
but they got there.

The people who were lucky, smart, whatever to get in at the beginning are very happy campers.

The rest are not.

That however is the way it goes.

No one twisted any one's arm to buy into presstek at 200, iom at 100, or ktel at 60.

FWIW..I think this is all just a rehash of an argument that was made way back a year ago.

Leave him alone. He's working on becoming the next Senator from New Hampshire in 2002.

I'll be in the Navy by that time... a conscious decision that I made, with no pressure from authority figures.

The Evil Dead.
