Tony: Hi again, have been off the boards, but lurking (OH NO< NOT THAT), find that I can't keep up with most threads, but felt it impt. to keep the thread here alive to show my undying loyalty to intc. Sonki and Sonny working overtime. Usually read last 30 posts on main thread, missed the Market Babe article, thanks, love ML to get ripped (I have no relationship with them). A few weeks ago when the sky was falling, Sonki graciously posted Merrill's Recommendation of PECO Energy which we've owned for years; they said a buy @38 after it had risen from 18 in the last 8 months. Their timing is astounding. Kurlak, Jeffens and the company as a whole really irk me at times. Where is Silent Tom K? OTOH he may say that Intc is a loser, that by 2000 the whole industry will be commoditized and we'll all have lost our life savings by then. What's really scary on this mischief night is how so many fund managers kiss up to these guys? Still feel intc must hold over 92 to make a push to well into 3 digits, but December will be interesting, esp. if Intc pre-announces really strong 4th quarter. btw, heard one of your least favorite dogs, SGI, is a rumored takeover, and the bounce could be big.Any opinion? OTOT to Sonki et al--Am still weighing my hold on Amat. And Tseng Labs (soon to be Cell pathways, a biotech) jumped to 6.5 today. btw, this was not a penny stock, just a dog which went from 20's to teens to 10, to 6, to 4, to 1, then to merge with Cell, back to 2, 2.5, 3 (on Monday), to 6.87 today. Everyone take a look at the Tseng on the move thread for some laughs. 'S Wonderful, 'S marvelous, can it last who knows, but what a ride. Regards, Royco
