Jim , that $22 support/resistance level had approx 9M shares traded over 3 days when it dropped through in mid may . Since the volume (if it keeps up ) could be 20M today this could easily overcome that resistance area . A point of note , there were 2 buys of 500K shares so far today . Could this be Calpers buying back in after the Raza announcement ?

A warning about jumping in: AMD closed above its 200 day M.A. in September but could not hold it for three days in a row, which is my rule of thumb for a confirmed bullish uptrend. Still, the gain today is enormous (+2.25 at 22.125 as of 1:13PM) and unlikely to be erased in the next two days.
