RE: 20 % of homes with PC's

Think its more like 46%. The PC brings the generations together. Some parents and grandparents will get their kids to help them configure and set up their Internet connection, or you can get a neighborhood kid to help you for a piece of cake. The interneted PC is curious because it is the tool that permits many other products to be sold BTO and direct, since illustrations, film strips, email response etc can be used to provide on demand service and description. I actually enjoy configuring a computer for a friend, trading off devices, recalculating the price, consulting data on components. It takes a long time, but there is no-one looking over your shoulder, calculating his commission, and wasting his time while you decide. You also buy a lot of stuff you would have passed up if you had been buying over the counter. And, if you want to wait, you don't have to pull the trigger and suffer immediate buyer's remorse. You can walk away, put it off, and it will be cheaper next month and there's no salesman to frown at you.

It will take some learning for most people, but it is the wave of the future.
