Gosh, thanks, jhild. What a nice thing to say. And so spontaneous and unsolicited.
LAst week I Was serving my sentence as volunteer in the Guidance office when two teenage girls waiting for their appointments with counselors kept looking at me. Finally one said, "I know! You look exactly like Jamie Lee Curtis."

THe other said, "Yeah! And you sound just like her, too! hAs anyone ever told you you look just like her?"

Now trust me. I look NOTHING like Jamie Lee Curtis. No one has ever thought that or said that. When I mentioned this later, Ammo patted me sympathetically on the shoulder and said, "I just don't see that one, Mom." CW , who is not as sweetnatured said, "In your dreams, maybe."

I said to the girls, "Well, no. But that's very nice. Mostly people told me I looked like Sandy Duncan."

Blank looks. "Who's that?"

Well, wow. Who was Sandy Duncan? "She used to play Peter Pan on Broadway. Um--she was the Triscuits lady on TV."

Polite nods. "That must have been a long time ago."

Yeah.
