Paul RE: <Pretender - Re: " Have you made any retroactive buys recently?">
I could well have been wrong on the sell - I thought it was $129.

Seems to me that I posted, as the shares were going up again, from the $65 range the last time that I was going to throw in the towel at $85, and that's what I did!(I think the post was to G. Nuss, but I could be wrong, & I'm not going to bother to find it for you.)

I did, indeed have twice the number of increasing INTC shares, but I had about 5 1/2 times the number of increasing AMD.

Off the top, I think I decided to chuck the INTC(I also sold long INTC) & go to AMD around the end of November, beginning of December '96. The last sale of that sequence for AMD occurred at about 22-25 during the late November December fiasco last year, the first at about 42, after AMD had gone to 48, then to ~40, and back up. Profitable sales all the way back down!

I bought some more on the last trip up(at around $20,& have taken the ride to $30 to whatever the last low was, to whatever it closes at today. I predict that my next sale of AMD will be for long term capital gains!

Last time I looked, AMD was up ~13% on the day, & intc was down .5% on the day - I'll take that return, every day I can get it!

HAHA HAHA HAHAAHAHA
