You post has a lto of merit and excellent points. The last point above can be taken in various ways. It is possible that Walmart does not feel threatened but there is a shortage of good IT people. It would take a lot to draw good IT people to Arkansaw. Just a thought.

I still believe strongly that the business model of Amazon will and is failing. Not so with YHOO and others. I really do hope I am correct:-)
